When Calls the Heart [season 12, 2024-25]

Set in a western american town in the 1910s, When Calls the Heart is The Hallmark Channel’s longest running show, running currently for its 13th season.

Shot in the well known, purpose built western set town of Coal Valley, I spend several months throughout shooting on this beatuiful ranch. During the cold winter months living in Vancouver one of the most rewarding thisabout this experience was the stunning sunrise that I witnessed each morning. Plus just being on the set had the feeling of going back in time to the wild west, with western false front archetecture of the shops and houses on the main street, they hey bales on the side of the wooden walkways and the company of the horses on the ranch.
